Missing out

Poor Kyla is not feeling good today and had to miss her dance class. She has had a cough and a runny nose all day and is not acting like herself. I was worried she would be really upset about missing dance, but she took it very well. I explained that since she wasn't feeling good we would have to stay home for the day and that she would be able to go to dance class in a few days(thankfully they have a class on wed night that is the same lvl so she can do a make-up class that day). She wasn't upset at all and said, "Ok, I can go when I feel better." And she has been resting on the couch ever since...I have a feeling she will be there the rest of the day.

Now all I can do is be careful and hope that the rest of us don't get sick. As bad as it sounds I'm not too worried about Raye getting sick- I can take care of a sick child. I only hope that I do not catch it, it is so hard to take care of children when you feel like crap. One of the added bonuses to homeschooling though is that we don't get sick very often. They aren't exposed to as many germs as they would be if they were going to daycare or school and sharing things with so many other kids.
