After running and trying to beat my two year old to the bathroom- I failed and had to push the screaming child away form the door as I closed it- I stood with my head against the door for a moment wondering how long it will be before I can go to the bathroom without being needed.

Why is it as soon as you are busy they need you for something? Kyla was not paying any attention to me until I headed for the bathroom. As soon as I turned towards the hallway she was running towards me and screaming that she needed me. So I stop and calmly explain that I will be right back, "Mommy just has to use the bathroom." sit her gently on the couch and sprint for the bathroom. -btw when did she get so fast? I should have been able to outrun a two year old.....or I guess I'm slower - "Mommy! I need you!" and she sat outside the door until I opened it and she practically fell into the bathroom. Lucky for her I know from experience not to open any doors quickly while the children are around.

Though I do not want them to grow up to fast, I really would like to go to the bathroom without being yelled at.
