Movie: TANGLED

We watched Tangled again this morning. This is one of those movies that turned out to be so much better than I expected. A different twist on the classic Rapunzel story I always thought it looked cute and that the kids would probably enjoy it. So when it came out on video we rented it through Netflix and planned on having a movie night with Kyla. Half an hour into the movie she was not paying much attention to it and asked if she could go to bed, lol, she never wants to go to bed. Since we were already invested and enjoying the movie Dave and I finished it on our own, and I love this movie. It is so much funnier than I expected and it's not the "adult" humor that lots of shows put in, just humorous situations and phrasings that aren't aimed only at adults or children. As a bonus the animation is great. They did an awesome job finding that place where it's not too realistic or too cartoonish. Even on repeated viewing (I think I'm up to 8) it holds up to additional scrutiny and I keep thinking it is done so well the closer I look at the details.
