School got busy today. It's starting to pick up and we're covering more content each day. Introduced a new Bible verse, added a new letter and sound, showed them how to write the little "i"(Going to have them start writing tomorrow! They will be so excited). We also started doing numbers- they already know how to count to 10, but they don't recognize the written ones so well. Just doing 1-3 right now and they did a good job. Especially when we played a counting game on the felt board with little apples.
My sister made the felt board apples(she's the artistic one) and we have alot more for the felt board we need to make yet. We're -meaning she- are going to make more fruit and a tree to put them on for counting, letters and numbers-hmmm actually I already made those....but where are they?-, felt dolls and items for the dolls. There are soooo many options.
Speaking of the felt letters and numbers, my mom has a Cricut that I used to cut them from the felt sheets and I love the Cricut. At least I loved it once I figured it out, lol. I didn't realize at first that there were different blades for it so I was trying to cut the felt with a paper blade. That doesn't work so well. As soon as I switched to the sharper blade it worked MUCH better.
