Free Speech?

I don't watch pro football but this has been bugging me since I heard about it earlier this wk. Hank Williams Jr's song was pulled from Monday night football because, according to Yahoo News "He made a statement comparing Barack Obama to Hitler".  So What? Who cares if he did, he is entitled to his own opinion isn't he? How many times was Bush compared to Hitler or called a terrorist?

But Hank Williams Jr didn't compare Obama to Hitler. He was asked what he thought of Obama and John Boehner(the speaker of the House) going golfing together and he said, "It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli leader) Benjamin Netanyahu."  In a later statement he explained his comment "he was "simply trying to show how stupid it seemed to me -- how ludicrous that pairing was" .... Boehner and Obama "are polar opposites and it made no sense. They don't see eye-to-eye and never will."

So he didn't even say Barack Obama was like Hitler! He simply used an analogy to explain his thoughts on the golf outing. This type of stuff drives me crazy. You're entitled to your opinion as long as your not conservative. Where is freedom of speech?
