A homeschooling mom's view on life: what the kids are doing for school and how well they are doing, resources we are using and extracurricular activities, home life, books and movies I'm watching or reading, and anything else worth talking about.

Wasted Day
I. HATE. BEING. SICK. I felt terrible all day today and it kept getting worse as the day wore on. I will be going to bed soon even though it is only a little after 9pm and feel like the entire day was wasted. Rae did Bible and Numbers with the girls in the morning- she said they weren't absobing much today though. And I managed to power through Phonics and Writing later so at least we did the day's worth of school. I spent a lot of time lying on the couch though and thankfully the girls were happy to sit with me and watch a movie or play by themselves. Big thanks to my brother in law Glen for coming over at dinner time and making mac and cheese for the kids while I slept in my bed till Dave was home from work. So... I am going to bed. And I realllly hope I feel better in the morning and that the kids don't get it from me.
